god! sometimes I swear! some people can be such a***s!  One of the mods for one of the Adam Lambert fan groups that I've been watching just sent me a reply to an angry note about a divination that was submitted to the group involving a decently drawn Adam Lambert, flashing the viewer and showing his erect penis.  Naturally, not only is that piece strictly forbidden here on DA, but I also believe it to be a slap in the face to Adam Lambert! It's one thing to do a beautiful artistic nude, or a very romantic-esk style piece of a love making session (I've seen some absolutely beautiful ones floating around here), but it is another thing entirely to submit something so crude and vulgar, and is a very insult to the celebrity themselves!  So I let the mod know my utter shock and furry with the fact that they actually let something like that through to the community of no doubt prepubescent teens that type in l33t sp34k rather then full sentences. And I got a note which I read once, and promptly deleted with no reply, that read something like this:

"1) don't "tell" me what to do.
2)the mods here work harder then any1 and they work for several communities
3)if i can -find- the piece, i'll take it down"

The nerve! The note was able to tell me a few things. 1) This obviously tells me that the person who wrote this is a 12 year old girl, who does not know how to properly run anything, let alone an entire community, and can not take a warning in an adult fassion and 2) what ever mods are supposedly running the community are too lazy to actually look through the pieces that they receive to make sure they are age appropriate for -everyone- to see (of which they should be because otherwise I'd expect a warning or something on the front page) and are therefor not fit to run a community. 3) I'm "telling" them because that's how DA would have "told" them, i.e.: "Take the pic down, now!" and if I'm not mistaken, I did say "Please remove that picture from the group" in there at least once.  I managed to bite my furry long enough to be polite, yet stern. And finally 4) looks like my dutiful action of reporting the piece worked and the insult of a picture is no longer on DA *throws confetti*

So in conclusion, here is what I would have expected from a respectable -adult-:

"I'm sorry to hear that you are displeased with a recent submission to the group. I agree that showing that content is against DA's rules and a moderator will look into the submission in question.  Thank you for bringing it to our attention. We will endeavor to be more vigilant in the feature."

Or at least something of the like.

Learn how to be an adult you prepubescent people! Jeeze! I'm sick and tired of dealing with highschoolers who think they're all that! GUH! Grow Up!
